Many thanks to Professor Troy McEwan from the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science for alerting the Forensic College, Vic Branch, of the launch of the Safer Futures Fund. This is of significant interest to the College as it highlights the importance of work in the forensic behavioural sciences and supports emerging professionals in the field.
The launch is next Tuesday, 1 July, at Swinburne University of Technology, and will be delivered by Emeritus Professor Clive Ruggles who will speak about his experiences of setting up the Alice Ruggles Fund following the death of his daughter at the hands of a former partner who had relentlessly stalked her. It would be great to see APS members lend their support to this initiative.
